FRANCESCA HYATT is a writer, translator and professor of English at CUNY-Queens College. She’s the winner of the 2021 Birdhouse Prize for her chapbook manuscript Forestwish (Ghostbird Press). She has an MFA in creative nonfiction and is an editor at KtB Magazine as well as co-founder and editor of Clotheslines, a new literary journal. www.francescahyatt.com.


KATIE MACHEN is a writer and cheesemonger based in Queens by way of Maryland, Pennsylvania, France, and New Zealand. She loves summer produce, most any body of water, and walking really fast without always knowing exactly where she’s going. Her work has appeared in Entropy, Off Assignment, River Teeth, and more, and she holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from Queens College, CUNY.
